Please feel free to contact us at anytime with your comments and questions. Liberty: Far Beyond OEM Co-Developed Products Liberty Wire & Cable, working in conjunction with engineers at many of the industry's well-know OEMs, has developed exclusive products for their respective systems. Two of these OEMs are highlighted below. Because these OEMs recommend these products as the only "qualified" cables for their systems, consultants have been specifying Liberty's products, along with the manufacturers' corresponding hardware, since the systems were introduced. 2001 - The "Creston Certified" family of structured wire was launched as part of Creston's Control and Automation Solutions line. Liberty is the only company authorized to offer co-engineered Plenum and non-Plenum "Crestron Certified" wire solutions. Cresnet™ and CresCAT™ wire were designed and built to optimize performance of any Crestron system. 1996 - In support of and in conjunction with the AMX™ line of control systems, Liberty announced the AXlink™ line of cables that included PVC, Plenum and the AMX TableTop™. Today, Liberty's AXlink Cables continue to be specified with AMX's most advanced Control Systems to assure system compatibility and optimum functionality. It is reasonably safe to state that most, if not all, consultants have specified these products from Liberty for one project or another. However, did you realize that these cables are just two items among thousands of Liberty's cables, assemblies, connectors, plates/panels and accessories that consultants specify? Liberty Wire & Cable is fast becoming the consultant's choice as a cost-effective equivalent to those cables otherwise specified. We can assure you that when consultants have specified Liberty, either by name or as "an equivalent," our products have delivered in performance to the total satisfaction of both the integrator and the consultant's client. Here's why:
So the next time you are specifying Liberty's OEM-approved wire and cable products, consider adding Liberty Wire & Cable to your list of sources, or, as many consultants have chosen to do, add the words "equal" or "equivalent" to your specifications. In rapid fashion, we can provide comprehensive submittals to consultants, which will effectively "cross" all other manufacturers. In those cases where specially configured cables or assemblies are required beyond conventional offerings, we respond. We have provided uniquely designed custom-built products for the A/V industry for over 12 years. Pass the Liberty Advantage on to your clients and to those integrators and systems contractors who successfully bid on the projects you are specifying and have all parties benefit from your choice. Featured Product: Liberty TTPTM Audio Cable This issue features Liberty's TTP™ (Tight Tube Plenum) speaker cables. We set out to make a superior performing Plenum speaker cable that has a high strand count, was easy to install, and had a good "look" to it. In all areas, we were successful, as has been proven by our customers huge support of this product. What features make Liberty TTP™ different? Our exclusive TTP™ speaker cable utilizes a unique extrusion technology that produces a round and flexible product with a thick jacket. This construction helps prevent hang-ups on sharp corners or edges during installation. Flexibility and performance are further enhanced with high strand counts. The TTP™ speaker cable is strong, flexible, easy to pull, and identify! It is available in a blue or white jacket with sequential footmarks for inventory management, identification and color-coded project drawings. We can also print your company name and/or application on the jacket. Liberty TTP™ Benefits: Higher Strand Count: The Liberty 12-2C-TTP has a strand count of 65 versus the normal industry standard of 19. Our 14-2C-TTP has 41 strands, versus the industry standard of 19, etc. What does this mean in an installation? Easier pulls and easier termination with higher performance. Thick, Round Plenum Jacket: Higher Strength, greater flexibility, great overall look. Premium Product: Liberty TTP™ is a premium product at the same low price you would pay for a standard plenum grade two conductor cable. If you were to try to match just the high strand count feature, you would pay 30% more, and still not have a TTP™. Note: In the next edition of the Consultant's Advantage Newsletter we will feature Liberty's unparalleled line of RGB cables and their corresponding connector solutions. Hot New Consultant Tool: Liberty Conduit Fill Calculator With the input from several of our Consultant partners, Liberty has designed a unique new software tool, the Liberty Conduit Fill Calculator. Based on industry common practices, this tool allows you to easily compute conduit fills. A designer can enter standard wire part numbers and get immediate conduit fill ratios. The calculator actually works several ways. You can specify conduit size and desired fill ratio, or you can just specify fill ratio and let the calculator give you the necessary conduit size for the cables you enter. Of course there is just one caveat...because it is a Liberty Calculator, all cables you enter are converted to Liberty part numbers. Hey, that's the only way we could really control the wire specs....we can't guarantee that our competitors will have the same high level of control and precision over wire dimensions that we do. All in all, it's a very handy tool that will save you valuable design time. Try it out...it's free for the asking. Just click on the button to the left. Liberty is launching a new a new Website! "Our complete E-commerce environment provides the AV and Broadcast professional with our complete line catalog, product technical information, training courses, product updates, order tracking and general account management," according to Kirk Horlbeck, Vice President of Residential Sales and Corporate Marketing. He explains "Our investment in our new web site demonstrates Liberty's unswerving commitment to our customer base today, and for the decade to come" The new Website will also feature a special section just for Consultants, where you can obtain information, specifications, tools, programs and see new product releases. The target date to kickoff the new site is March 24th. The Web address will remain the same, http://www.libertycable.com. Visit the new site after the 24th... We feel sure you'll be pleased. We at Liberty Wire & Cable fully realize the time constraints under which everyone in our industry operates. A Consultant's time is currency. Of course we would love to see every consultant in the industry specifying Liberty products, but we know that just isn't going to happen for several reasons. One, why change from something that's been comfortable for years....and maybe that's self explanatory. But when one stops to think about it, if it is years old, there may be solutions from companies like Liberty that will do the job better and more cost effective. Naturally there is that issue of the time it takes to change the tried and true "boilerplates" that you as a designer or consultant use every day. Time is money, quite literally. So we at Liberty Wire & Cable will extend an offer to you. If you desire to start "looking outside the box" for newer, more cost-efficient quality solutions, for example the Liberty TTP™Plenum speaker cable featured, let the technical experts at Liberty do the "footwork" by providing alternate wire, cable, connector, and plates/panel submittals for consideration by your firm. We're eager to provide this at no cost or obligation to you. Simply contact your Liberty Territory Manager, [AENAME]- [AEEMAIL] at [AEPHONE], and he will make sure that your request is thoroughly handled in a professional and expeditious manner The Liberty Advantage Training Program is another very useful tool that Liberty Wire & Cable has developed at the request of our partners. It's an"everything you ever (or never) wanted to know about wire and cable, connectors and plates/panels." Developed by experts in the industry, it is yours just for the asking. Use it to train new hires, or just to brush up your own wire and cable knowledge. There's really nothing like it....even our competitors are purchasing it from us to train their people....and you can have it for FREE! Just contact sales@libertycable.com to make sure you get your free copy. Or, if you are at NSCA, stop by to see us at Booth 408 and pick up a copy. Well Consultant partners, that's about it for this quarter. Frank Brady, the Liberty Broadcast & Integration Team, and myself hope that you find this newsletter informative, and useful. We are all looking forward to hearing from you or seeing you at one of the industry tradeshows. Just know how much we value our relationships with you and the importance we place on the valuable product information you provide to us throughout the year. Most of all we appreciate and respect the great job all of you do to keep the industry standards high and the need for value added suppliers like Liberty in demand. Regards, |
